Everything You Need To Know for Peach Week! (2024)

Everything You Need To Know for Peach Week! (1)

The North Carolina Peach Festival in Candor is coming up on July 18-20, and neighboring Moore County has announced events surrounding their second annual Peach Week celebration.

“We were really overwhelmed with the response we received from the community after the inaugural Peach Week last year, so we decided, why not do it again?” says Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau President and CEO Phil Werz. “We’re asked often about things to do in the area and Peach Week really has something for everyone. Playing off the juice of the N.C. Peach Festival in Candor is a natural fit for us in Moore County, and we couldn’t be happier with the way the community has embraced all of the events.”

Peach Week in Moore County will run July 18-28 and will feature a restaurant week food and drink competition, foodie and trolley tours, Peach Night with the Sandhills Bogeys, Putt n’ Peach at Wee Pines at Olmsted Village mini golf and ‘90s Night with the band Katatonik at The Buggy Factory in Carthage. There will also be a 5K Fun Run with FirstHealth Fitness, Power Cars and Peaches event at the Weymouth Center for the Arts and Humanities, and much more. It’s all capped off by the Peach A’Palooza festivities at James Creek Cider House on July 28.
