MODEL 700 SPS

Built on the proven Remington® Model 700™, the SPS™ Tactical AAC-SD Bolt-Action Rifle has all the features you need for tactical shooting, as well as hardcore hunting. At the heart of the SPS (Special Purpose Synthetic) is the famous Model 700 action that has been proven for accuracy and reliability in combat with the U.S. Army’s M24 sniper rifle. The SPS Tactical AAC-SD comes with a heavy-contour barrel with bullet-stabilizing 1:10 rate-of-twist rifling. A 5/8-24 threaded muzzle with thread protector installed accepts AAC® and other compatible flash hiders, muzzle brakes, and suppressors. The rugged synthetic Hogue® Overmolded stock uses pillar bedding for a solid attachment platform for the barreled receiver. The barrel and receiver have a non-reflective matte, blued finish. An externally adjustable X-Mark Pro® trigger comes factory set at 3.5 lbs. and can be set down to 2.5 lbs. based on your preferences. The 2-position safety is quick to operate; and the bolt knob has 2-panel checkering for a nonslip hold while cycling the action. The Remington Model 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD bolt-action rifle has a hinged floorplate for safe and easy unloading of the magazine, and comes drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
